What is DISC?

DISC History

In 1928, Marston published his book titled Emotions of Normal People. According to Marston, people express their emotions through four types of behavior: dominance, influence, steadiness, and compliance.
In this book, he categorized human behaviors into four groups, where characteristics of different styles combine, which are now known as the DISC behavioral patterns.
Carl Marston was influenced by contemporary psychologists such as Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud, who primarily focused on abnormal behaviors
